Transport in Greater Paris: the disruptions of the weekend of November 20 and 21

Maintenance work on the lines, canceled services and angry motorcyclists protest ... Here are the disruptions to be expected this weekend


RER B.

No train to the airport.

Saturday and Sunday, RER B traffic is interrupted between Aulnay-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis and terminal 2 at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.

A replacement bus service is being put in place.

RER C.

Due to works, line C traffic is interrupted in Yvelines between Viroflay Rive gauche and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines throughout the weekend.

Travelers are invited to switch to line N, subject to an extended journey time of 15 minutes.

To the “south” of the line, in Essonne, trains are canceled and replaced by buses, throughout the weekend for the Juvisy / Massy-Palaiseau branch and until Sunday at 5 p.m. for the Juvisy / Dourdan and Juvisy / Etampes.

RER D.

Terminus at Saint-Denis Stade de France, this weekend for the trains of line D. The rest of the journey to the usual terminus of Creil in the Oise is to be done by bus.

RER E.

Beware of removing trains at the end of service.

This weekend, rail traffic between Saint-Lazare and the terminuses of line E is interrupted from 10:15 pm for the “Tournan” branch and 10:30 pm for the “Chelles-Gournay” branch in Seine-et-Marne.

Transiliens

Line J.

The rail service is interrupted throughout the weekend between Paris / Saint-Lazare and Mantes-la-Jolie via Poissy in the Yvelines.

A replacement bus service is in place but only between Les Mureaux and Mantes-la-Jolie.

Line N.

Trains will not run, Saturday and Sunday, between Epône and Mantes-la-Jolie stations in Yvelines.

Replacement buses are being put in place.

Line P.

Saturday and Sunday evenings, the transiliens of line P from Paris Est are replaced by bus connections, from 10:45 p.m. towards Meaux in Seine-et-Marne, from 11 p.m. towards Château-Thierry and after 11:30 p.m. towards Coulommiers.

The trains between Meaux and La Ferté-Milon are also canceled throughout the weekend.

Metro

Line 14

.

Due to works, the entire line 14 will be closed this Sunday, from 10 p.m. and for a little more than a day.

The line will reopen to travelers on Tuesday morning.

Routes

New event for two-wheelers in Paris

No major road works to be expected this weekend.

Motorists should, however, expect possible slowdowns on Saturday afternoon, in a large north-western quarter of the capital.

The federation of angry bikers is organizing a new demonstration "on the handlebars" to protest against the future paid parking for two-wheelers in Paris.

The demonstrators will gather from 2 p.m. at the Porte Dauphine (16th century) then drive towards the town hall via the Maréchaux, the avenue des Ternes, and the boulevards of Courcelles and Malesherbes, Saint-Lazare, République and the sector. Réaumur.
