With simple materials and ideas, the two young women, Reham Abu Latif and Nadine Abu Hamdan, turned their passion for manual work into a micro-project that includes designing various types of decorations and manufacturing chocolate for occasions, holidays and parties.

The project, as mentioned by Reham, 32, a graduate of a music institute, was launched in 2019 within their neighboring homes in the village of Rasas, as they are two brothers’ wives. They started producing on demand until their work gradually developed and they participated in exhibitions to present their works.

During her interview with SANA reporter, Reham indicated that cooperation between them is the basis for the continuation of their project, which they called “cute”, showing how she and Nadine find pleasure in dealing with cardboard and “eva” paper by adapting them into different forms of aesthetic appeal that people like and serve the purposes of occasions.

According to Nadine, a 28-year-old graduate of a banking institute, the addition of manual chocolate manufacturing to the project was during the current year, making it integrated due to the link between ornamental designs and chocolate pieces on occasions, pointing to how they deal with large molds and turn them into small pieces with the introduction of flavors on them, including those related to children.

Nadine pointed out that she and Warham are constantly searching for every new idea to develop their project that contributes to improving the demand for what they design in order to reach their goal.

Although Reham and Nadine are facing difficulties related to the rise in the prices of raw materials, they are seeking to move in the coming period to designing ornaments with wood and opening a special shop to display their work.

According to the head of the Women's Support Department at Sabaya Gere Group on social media pages, Marah Al-Shaarani, Reham and Nadine were able, with simple ideas, to leave a creative imprint and provide work needed in society in the field of decorations related to events.
