Ten days after the last close contact at the earliest, the person can test himself / herself by means of a rapid test (PoC antigen test) carried out by trained staff, for example in a test center or a pharmacy.
As the Landratsamt Unterallgäu further announced in a press release on Friday, the quarantine only ends when the negative result has been transmitted to the Landratsamt Unterallgäu.
It is no longer possible to end the quarantine on the seventh day with a negative PCR test.

If you live in a household with a person who tested positive, the quarantine only ends when the symptoms of the first case began ten days ago, or, if the course was symptom-free, ten days after this person tested positive.
Here, too, the contact person must submit a negative rapid test at the end.
Vaccinated people are usually not considered a contact person.
This general decree only becomes invalid if, on three consecutive days, either the 7-day incidence in Unterallgäu is below 300 or the intensive care bed occupancy in the area of the Donau-Iller rescue control center is below 80 percent.
