The Palestinian Ministry of Education confirmed that 15 children were killed by the Israeli occupation forces, and 1,194 others were arrested in the West Bank since the beginning of this year until the end of last October, calling for international protection for Palestinian children.
In a statement today, on the occasion of International Children's Day, reported by Ma'an News Agency, the ministry said that the occupation forces shot dead 15 children and arrested 1,194 others since the beginning of the year, indicating that the occupation targets children while storming their families' homes and schools in the West Bank.
The ministry pointed out that the occupation forces carried out more than 100 attacks on schools amid firing poison gas bombs and bullets, calling on the international community to provide protection for Palestinian children, guarantee their right to education and a decent life, and stop the continuing occupation crimes against them.
