Munich - The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports an incidence of 635.6 for Bavaria (previous day: 625.3).
Freyung-Grafenau is the new nationwide hotspot.
In the Lower Bavarian district the incidence is 1564.7.
In addition, there are more districts in the Free State of over 1000.

Söder announces stricter corona rules - nine districts in Bavaria over 1000 incidence
A total of nine Bavarian districts are above the seven-day incidence of 1000 (previous day: eight).
It was only on Friday that Prime Minister Markus Söder tightened the corona measures - including for hotspots (= incidence over 1000).
Public life is to be shut down in large areas there: restaurants, sports and cultural venues must close, events are prohibited.
Schools and daycare centers should also remain open there.
