An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale hit the Tokat province in northern Turkey today.
The Anatolia News Agency, a spokeswoman for the Turkish regime, quoted the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority as saying in a statement that the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 12.37 km from the surface of the earth, while there were no immediate reports of casualties or material losses as a result of the quake.
