An Iranian police officer was killed in a clash with terrorists in the southwest of the country last night.
The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Lieutenant-Colonel Hadi Kanaani was seriously wounded during an exchange of fire with terrorists in Khuzestan province, after which he was taken to hospital, but he died due to the seriousness of his injury.
The agency indicated that three terrorists were killed during the clash.
