A man was detained for questioning after Israir allegedly rioted on a flight from Budapest to Tel Aviv.
According to a video circulated online, the man cursed a flight attendant and called her a whore.
The company claimed that during the flight, the passenger moved to an emergency seat on his own, a seat in which sitting involves payment.
According to the company, Dale asked the passenger to return to his seat or pay an additional amount for him, and in response the passenger started cursing her.
In addition, the company stated, the passenger did not wear a mask, contrary to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
Israir also said: "Israir condemns the violence and does everything to eradicate the phenomenon of violence against passengers on the flight, first and foremost in the safety aspect towards the passengers and equipment on the flight. The video uploaded to the network was shot by one of the passengers. "It does and will do everything to ensure its passengers a high level of security and safety."
