The Rotary Club donated 3,610 euros to the neighborhood aid village in Dorfen.
Dorfen
- The Rotary Club of Dorfen celebrated its 20th birthday in September - the Rotarians collected donations of 3610 euros, which have now been handed over to the Dorfener Neighborhood Aid.
"I am delighted that I can make a donation to the neighborhood help," said Rotary President Hans Baumgartner.
His predecessor Past President Rolf Schwaneberg added: "Here in Dorfen, too, there are people in need who urgently need our support over and over again."
Baumgartner recalled the concert masterpiece at the anniversary concert in the Jakobmayer under the direction of Ernst Bartmann, himself a Rotarian and the youngest member when the association was founded 20 years ago.
"A colorful program with great voices," enthused Schwaneberg.
The chairwoman of the Dorfen Neighborhood Aid, Paulina Stimmer, thanked the Rotarians.
"Especially now in the run-up to Christmas we can make many people who are socially disadvantaged with the generous donation a great pleasure." But practical help is currently needed: "The heating costs have risen sharply.
Many customers currently need financial help. "
