The joint Iraqi forces launched a security operation to hunt down the remnants of ISIS terrorists in eastern Anbar Province.
The Popular Mobilization Directorate said in a statement that Alsumaria News received a copy of it today, "The Eastern Anbar Operations Command, represented by the 2nd and 7th Brigades in the Popular Mobilization Authority, launched a security operation to search the eastern areas of the province."
The statement added, "The operation aims to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists, eliminate their movements, and completely secure the area."
Last week, the joint Iraqi forces launched a security operation to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists east of Hamrin Lake in Diyala Governorate, in the east of the country.
