Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov announced today that his country will produce more than two billion doses of an anti-Corona vaccine next year.
Sputnik quoted Manturov as saying in a television interview that we have a reserve.. We have started selling this product and we have the possibility to make two billion doses over the next year.
In turn, the Ministry of Industry explained that Russia already has the technical capabilities to reach this volume of production.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin had earlier issued instructions to register the volume of vaccines against the Corona virus in his country in order to predict the amount of need for them and to create a sufficient stock for all citizens.
Russia is witnessing a wide vaccination campaign against the Corona virus in all regions, with its locally produced vaccines “Sputnik V” and Sputnik Lite.
