Elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus countryside seized a number of gas stations for violating the monopoly of gasoline and diesel, two bakeries for bad bread-making, and a food factory for violating fraud and deception on the date of production and expiry.
Saer Shiha, director of internal trade and consumer protection in Damascus countryside, explained that the directorate’s agents seized a number of gas stations in Al-Kiswah, Sahnaya and Al-Maliha, violating the monopoly of gasoline with the intention of trading and disposing of the fuel reserves, monopolizing the fuel oil and not announcing the prices.
Shiha pointed out that two catering bakeries were seized in Kafr Batna and Artouz for violating bad industry and non-compliance with working hours, transporting bread without boxes, a supermarket in Sahnaya with a violation of fraud and fraud in the statement card, and a food factory in Jaramana for violating fraud and fraud on the date of production and expiry.
