The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Damascus arrested several drug dealers and promoters, and confiscated about 35 kilograms of hashish, 105,000 Captagon pills, and 600 Biogablin pills.
The Ministry of Interior indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that through continuous follow-up and monitoring, the Anti-Narcotics Branch in Damascus was able to arrest nine people who were dealers and promoters of narcotic substances in several separate areas of Damascus and its countryside. of cannabis and 17 kilograms of Captagon pills, equivalent to 85,000 pills. Two people were arrested in Al-Tadamun and 2,000 Captagon pills were seized in their possession.
A person was arrested in Moadamiya, 3 kilograms and 100 grams of hashish were confiscated, two other people were confiscated in Barzeh housing, 18,000 Captagon pills and a person was confiscated in Al-Fahama, and 600 Biogablin pills were confiscated, in addition to another person in Jaramana who was found in possession of 600 grams of marijuana.
The ministry's statement pointed out that efforts are still continuing until the eradication of the phenomenon of drug trafficking, abuse and promotion.
