The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continuous attacks by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Isawiya in the occupied city of Jerusalem for nearly a year.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today, reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that the fierce attack against the town falls within the framework of the continuous attacks committed by the occupation authorities against Jerusalem and its towns, neighborhoods and holy sites, with the aim of displacing Palestinians from it and imposing new facts on the ground that undermine any chance of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Foreign Ministry once again called on the international community, international organizations and institutions to assume its responsibilities in stopping this aggression and providing international protection for the Palestinian people and Jerusalem and its holy sites and neighborhoods.
