The town center of Grünwald could soon be even more beautiful

A green town center that is pleasant for pedestrians and cyclists, that is what the Greens have wanted for years.

But she still has to be patient.

That cyclists could drive on Rathausstrasse in both directions, this thought is off the table (we reported).

The planning process takes and continues

At the end of the latest municipal council meeting, Susanne Kruse (Greens) had another question about the further design of the town center.

She had already criticized last December that the planning process was generally sluggish.

The garden and landscape architecture firm Finsterwalder from Rosenheim has now been commissioned, and Kruse wanted to know the wording of the commission.

Because she is surprised that it takes so long and that no city planning office was commissioned with the planning.

In addition, she would have liked to hear the results of the office unfiltered in the local council.

Instead, there is a preliminary discussion in the administration.

Corona is also a reason to wait

Mayor Jan Neusiedl (CSU) explained the procedure.

Then everything was agreed with the Rosenheim company.

The mayor promised, however, that at one of the next meetings, at the request of the Green councilor, he would be happy to announce exactly what the office had been commissioned to do.
