At about 1 am today (21st), a private car was driving along the Tolo Highway towards Tai Po. When it approached the Science Park, it was suspected of being hit by a BMW private car following it to the rear. The private car lost control and crashed to the right. Shi Beng then lost control and turned sideways on the road. The three men in the car were once trapped in the car.
The following BMW private car left afterwards, leaving a front pump handle on the scene, suspected to belong to the BMW private car.
Several passing motorists called the police.
The firefighter arrived at the scene and rescued the three men in the car. They all suffered minor injuries and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the incident and track down the whereabouts of the vehicle involved.
