First delivery of vaccines against Corona children landed this morning (Saturday) at Ben Gurion Airport, the opening of vaccination campaign is expected to begin on Tuesday. Shipping including hundreds of thousands of packets designed for children ages 11-5.
On Sunday there will be a meeting of the Health Ministry's expert team (Tzt"m ) It will discuss issues for which a decision has not yet been made regarding the vaccination of children, including the interval between vaccine doses, children recovering and the administration of a booster dose.
The Pfizer shipment that arrived this morning was received by Teva-Sala, which is responsible for the logistics of the shipment.
The rations are stored at the Sala-Teva operations center in Shoham and from there will be distributed to hundreds of immunization points next week.
