The Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced the dismantling of a terrorist cell consisting of twenty members in the Jendouba governorate in the northwest of the country.
The Tunisian newspaper Al-Shorouk quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that "the counter-terrorism units of the National Security were able to dismantle a terrorist cell that included 20 members in Jendouba who were monitoring some vital institutions in the state and stationing security units."
Since 2012, the Tunisian forces have been engaged in campaigns to track down terrorist groups that belong to cells affiliated with Al-Qaeda and the terrorist “ISIS”.
