It's not every day that a TV celebrity looks over the shoulder at work.

Bernhard Rieger from Wallgau experienced it when Hornst Lichter and Kai Wiesinger visited.

Wallgau / Krün

- “Camera is running” - Bernhard Rieger now knows this instruction inside out. He has already made numerous TV appearances - and another one will be added around Christmas time. The Wallgau Lüftlmaler is not yet allowed to reveal anything about the content. Just this much: “Three creative people meet on the Buckelwiesen.” The other two are real German television top-class: presenter and TV chef Horst Lichter (59) and actor Kai Wiesinger (55).

Why the two in motorcycle outfits ended up in the mountain idyll of Maria Rast at the end of July - as I said: a big secret. Only when the Christkindl arrives will the presents be given, in other words: the dissolution. But shooting with the celebrities was another interesting experience for the “Bayern Ambassador” - yes, Bernhard Rieger has actually been allowed to use this title for some time at the request of Bayern Tourismus. And by the way, the Isartal artist, who has made commissioned work to Australia, the USA, Italy or England, was able to tell something about his great hobbyhorse, the Lüftlmalerei. “It does not shape an era, but a region” - for centuries. According to Rieger, this traditional art style has parallels to modern street art. "That's what I told the two of them."

Rieger goes into raptures about his two interlocutors.

Kai Wiesinger, for example, who likes to come across as a little snobbish on television, is "a really cool guy," says the Wallgauer.

“The man comes across as very casual and has absolutely no airs.” In addition, the actor has enormous knowledge, for example in the art of photography.

Horst Lichter is no less kissed by the muse.

“He questions everything,” reports Rieger.

“It just has something on the box.” In any case, it was an entertaining and horizon-expanding shoot in a picturesque landscape - free advertising for the Upper Isar Valley, but also for Bavaria Ambassador Rieger.
