The bus does not come down to the valley regularly;
Only on Thursdays does it go to changing stations in the district.
The rush is correspondingly large.
And the colder it is, the more gloomy the waiting look - that's how the lady from Kreuth describes it, who doesn't want to read her name in the newspaper.
She still wants to tell her story.
“Because it cannot be that you vaccinate people inside, but leave them waiting outside.” That is not only a deterrent to those who urgently want to be vaccinated.
But also “unreasonable towards the elderly”, who, like the 79-year-old, now come to the booster injection.
The Kreutherin didn't get it - because she didn't want to wait in the cold.
She made an appointment with a doctor in Miesbach.

Hausham vaccination center: waiting time 20 minutes to one and a half hours
Nothing will change in this situation for the time being.
When asked, Beate Faus, head of the vaccination center in Hausham, said: “He who waits will get the vaccination.” Nobody is sent home.
But you have to bring along time.
“Everything is included, from 20 minutes to an hour and a half,” says Faus.
Why is it not possible to make appointments at the vaccination center?
"We should remain low-threshold, the government wants." This is not guaranteed via the government portal, with which older people in particular have difficulties.
“We don't want to tie up the staff in the call center either, but rather focus the entire manpower on the vaccinations.” The fastest way to do this is without appointments.
The vaccination teams have been enlarged to the maximum.
"We are also building a wind and weather shelter," says Faus.
Those who do not like the time and place of the offers in the district can get vaccinated abroad - but not everywhere.
Most have changed their offers.
Vaccinate away from home: the offers at a glance
In the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, for example, the vaccination bus has been discontinued.
Too cold, too long lines.
Instead, the neighboring district relies on vaccination centers in Wolfratshausen and Bad Tölz, with appointments made at impfzentren.bayern.
However, the changeover to the allocation of appointments has one disadvantage for residents in the Miesbach district: From Monday you will no longer receive the syringe in the neighboring district.

Anyone who wants to be vaccinated as a Miesbacher in the district of Munich faces the same problem in the vaccination center in Haar as in Bad Tölz - the appointment obligation is back.
However, if necessary, non-residents can pick up the prick at vaccination bus stations, for example in Sauerlach.
