The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch, in cooperation with the branch of the Child Cancer Society, held a variety of artistic, sports and recreational activities in the gymnasium in Al-Hasakah on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, which falls every year today.
The head of the organization's branch, Ali Mansour, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the participatory activity included a variety of artistic, entertainment, theatrical and sports segments with the aim of bringing joy to the hearts of children on the International Children's Day and contributing to planting a smile on their faces.
The administrative assistant at the Cancer Treatment Society branch, Ahmed Hassan, indicated that the activity focuses on psychological support for children through the implementation of various recreational artistic activities, in addition to distributing various gifts to the attending children.
In the city of Qamishli, Al-Ihsan Charitable Society, in cooperation with the Arab Cultural Center, held an artistic celebration that included a play for children's rights and the distribution of gifts for children on the occasion of International Children's Day.
The Director of the Education Project at the Al Ihsan Charitable Society, Radwan Al-Hilal, explained that during the celebration, a children's play was presented, in which a group of children participated in the education project funded by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
