Brandenburg's Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke was re-elected as SPD state chairman with 84.4 percent.
The 60-year-old received 81 yes-votes out of 96 valid votes at the state party conference of the SPD Brandenburg in Schönefeld on Saturday.
13 delegates voted against him, 2 abstained.
He got a better result than at the previous state party conference in November 2018, when he received 80.8 percent.
Schönefeld - The Lusatian has been leading the party since 2013. The party congress took place under strict conditions due to the corona pandemic.
