A spider rang the doorbell in the middle of the night (REDDIT)
In the video - this poor doorbell rang at 2 at night - and you do not want to see who is waiting for him beyond the door
No cockroaches, no imaginary monsters, not even a chuck puppet coming to life - there is nothing more frightening in the world than ringing the doorbell late at night when you are not expecting anyone.
Most of us are so scared of it that we prefer to hide under the blanket and hope that the ring does not come back again and we are forced to find out who the mysterious figure on the other side of the door is.
This is what happened to 35-year-old Lian Jennings from Essex, England, who woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of the doorbell repeating itself over and over again.
Luckily she did not have to open the door to find out who the unexpected visitor was - and watched what was happening through the doorbell camera she installed about a year ago.
She expected the worst - but then she realized exactly who the sentient creature was who came to visit, and burst out laughing.

Liane watched the camera and discovered that the surprising visitor was an innocent snail that had crawled on the bell on the way to the second floor.
She recounted: "I assumed it was a snail but it looked very, very strange - especially when that glowing thing lit up around his stomach. At first I lost it a bit and then, when I ran backwards, I started laughing!".
In the video you can see the snail moving slowly from the lower left corner of the bell as its two tentacles curiously examine the lens for them.
She added: "I posted the video on my social media and everyone sent me messages and told me it was awfully funny. The next day, when I took Gracie's daughter to school, I checked to see if there were any traces left - but nothing was left there."
In case you asked why the snail looks glamorous, Liane explains that it was the night vision camera of the doorbell camera that made it look like this.
It was this glow that made Lian's friends think it was an alien.
Liane said: "When I showed the photos to my friends they were a little scared. They looked at me like they saw a ghost, an alien or something like that. It made me laugh because I do not believe in aliens, but considering I saw two little tentacles popping up there, it's It could very well have been a green man from space or in the more realistic case, a snail crawling on my doorbell. "
Liane added: "My daughter thought it was pretty funny. She was also a little scared when she watched it this morning. She said it looked like an alien snail to her."
