Prime Minister Naftali Bennett today (Sunday) blocked Herzl Hajaj, the father of Deputy Shir Hajaj, who was killed in 2017 in a terrorist attack on the Commissioner's Palace in Jerusalem.

Hajaj, who often sharply criticizes Bennett and the government he heads, wrote on Twitter in response that he too was "blocked by terrorist prime minister Naftali Bennett" and added that Bennett "knew how to ask us to support him in the election, and is now unable to deal with my criticism of the government. Hajjaj added: "The truth is now he can continue to embrace Abbas, a supporter of the terrorists, quietly and without criticism without reminding him of the truth."
Following the incident, right-wing MKs opened a protest, blocking the account. Bennett's Twitter claimed that a red line had been crossed in Bennett's move against Hajjaj. Bosso, MK Galit Distal Atbrian, MK Ofir Katz, MK Katie Sheetrit and MK Simcha Rotman.

MK Bosso added: "We identify with the bereaved families." After the blockade, Bennett removed the blockade, and his office said: "The blockade was made in good faith.
