The world number three, Alexander Zebrav, today (Sunday) defeated the second place and the current champion, Daniel Medvedev, 4: 6 4: 6 and won the ATP final tournament tournament, for the second time in his career.

This was absolutely Zebrav's year.
After picking up the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo, which earned him a third title in 2021, he also won the Masters Tournament in Madrid and the Acapulco Tournament and tonight as mentioned he picked up his sixth.
On the other hand, Medvedev hoped to keep the title he won last year and become the first to do so since Djokovic (who won four times in a row between 2012 and 2015), but as mentioned failed.
