One of the stormy weeks in English football begins this week and thousands of Israelis are expected to arrive there in the coming days.
In a conversation with Yossi Alfasi, CEO of Leibticket, he talks about the high demand of Israelis for football games in England.
"This week there will be very interesting games between Chelsea and Juventus, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United and Chelsea. Along with these three big games there will be a few more smaller games in the triangle between London, Liverpool and Manchester and that "He is dragging at least 5,000 Israelis to England this week."

Alfasi adds, "There was no such demand for tickets to football matches in England even in the period before Corona and the interesting thing is that most of the tickets sold are for the good seats, in the center of the pitch, at the bottom of the stands and in VIP seats. Prices start from £ 350 for some games. "It can also start from £ 500 and up and for many games tickets are no longer available. For the Christmas and New Year celebrations in England Arkia will fly a special plane to Manchester because of the high demand, we have waiting lists."
The World Cup is upon us - the Israelis are preparing
The CEO also referred to the World Cup to be held in Qatar in exactly one year, "A week ago I met FIFA representatives in London and they made it clear to me that Israelis can enter the country. I estimate there will be about 20,000 Israelis in Qatar. "A grant the right of hospitality and Qatar has confirmed that Israelis will indeed be able to watch the games.
"The sale of hotel rooms has not yet started and the order of the games is still unclear, but everything will be clarified soon."
In recent years, it has been known that Israelis are among the world's leading consumers of sports games.
For example, in the game between Chelsea and Manchester United that will take place in exactly one week, there are expected to be about 2,000 Israelis, about 5% of the occupancy at the stadium.
The numbers are similar in the other big games in Spain, France and especially in England.
