The government has approved the Prime Minister's term of office; it is expected to go up for a first reading tomorrow
According to the proposal, an MK who has served as prime minister for eight years, whether in a row or not, will no longer be eligible to serve in the position. The law will not apply retroactively, so Netanyahu will be able to run for office for another eight years.
