The regime's efforts in Beijing to convince the world that it has not harmed a feng shui tennis player are gaining momentum.
Today (Sunday), a day after the regime's mouthpieces published photos that allegedly indicate that she is in good health, the editor of a newspaper affiliated with the regime published a video showing her participating in a tennis tournament.
Subsequently, the International Olympic Committee released photos of an existing video call with Feng.
"She said her condition was good, which was the main concern of us," the committee said at the end of the virtual meeting, although it was not clear whether the Chinese regime was in fact the one that controlled Feng's remarks.
According to the announcement, Feng said "she is at her home in Beijing and wants us to respect her privacy."
Peng Shuai showed up at the opening ceremony of a teenager tennis match final in Beijing on Sunday morning.
Global Times photo reporter Cui Meng captured her at the scene.

As you may recall, Feng accused a former Chinese regime official of sexually assaulting him in a post that was the moment of the Chinese MeToo, but immediately afterwards disappeared completely from the networks, leading to a protest in the West and a firm demand by the World Tennis Association to prove no harm.
All this while threatening to hold tennis events in the People's Republic of China if it is not proven that it is free from the regime's abuse.
