Mirko Genco, 24 years old stopped yesterday by the Reggio Carabinieri accused of killing Juana Cecilia Hazana Loayza, 34 year old found slaughtered in a park in Reggio Emilia, in 2020 he was denounced by another former partner with whom he lived in Parma for harassing behavior in his regards.

According to what emerged, Genco had forced the woman to cut all ties with the outside world and to close relations with others.

Following the complaint, she was placed in a protected facility.

Apparently there is a proceeding against Genco for this other matter but there are no precautionary measures.

And another biographical detail emerges about Genco.

His mother, Alessia Della Pia, was killed at the age of 39 in December 2015. The ex-cohabitant Mohammed Jella, a thirty-year-old Tunisian, was accused of the crime of the woman.

The woman was first beaten in the entrance hall of the house in Parma, then immersed in the bathtub of the apartment where she lived and finally brought back lifeless in the entrance hall.

It was Jella himself, at the time, to alert 118 and then flee immediately afterwards.

He was arrested in 2017 in his country of origin, Tunisia, after a year and a half in hiding.

Reggio Emilia is upset by the death of Juana Cecilia.

The mayor, Luca Vecchi, calls for "tougher laws and stricter controls".

In the afternoon in the park where the body of the 34-year-old was found, a silent sit-in by the citizens is scheduled.
