After the Palestinian terrorist organizations condemned the British decision to also define the political arm of Hamas as a terrorist organization, today (Sunday) more supporters joined the Palestinian terrorists.
No fewer than 75 Jordanian MPs, out of 130 in total, issued a joint statement defining the recognition of Hamas as a terrorist organization as "aggression against the Palestinian people and the Arab nation."
On the day of the terrorist attack in Jerusalem, in which an Israeli citizen was killed, they added that "the British decision is a reward for the Zionist occupation that kills Palestinian civilians ... and imposes a siege on the citizens of Gaza."
The Jordanian MPs concluded: "We call on the British government to reverse the move that is in support of the aggression and repression carried out by Israel."
As you may recall, British Interior Minister Priti Patel announced on Friday the definition of Hamas' political arm as a "terrorist organization."
The decision, which will be submitted to the British Parliament next week, will mean that anyone who expresses support for Hamas and several operatives of the terrorist organization in the kingdom - could face up to 14 years in prison.
Hamas has already attacked London, claiming that the decision to define them as a terrorist organization is a "continuation of aggression against the Palestinian people and their rights."
However, this is not the first British recognition against Hamas.
Already 20 years ago, in 2001, Britain decided to define the military arm of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades as a terrorist organization.
