"Come on the fascists, we are going to eat you, we are going to kill you"

It is in these terms that certain “
anti-fascist
”
activists
welcomed members of the feminist collective Némésis on Saturday afternoon during a march against sexual and gender-based violence in Paris.

Organized at the initiative of the #NousToutes collective, several events took place across France. While the Parisian procession had already started its march from the Place de la République, it was joined by activists from Némésis, a collective which claims to be an “
identity feminism
”. The tone quickly rose when its members clashed with those of the “
anti-fascist
”
movement
of the Young Guard. A banner in particular, exhibited by the feminists of Nemesis, triggered the anger of the “
antifas
”.
"Hatred of women is not a cultural enrichment!"
, could we read in evocation of Afghan immigration.
Immediate reaction of antifa who copiously insulted their "
enemies
," treating them as "
racist
" or even "
fascists
" and requiring them to "
steer
". To which the Nemesis responded with further insults. The tension rose further when the two groups found themselves face to face. Violent clashes ensued, with projectiles thrown and beatings with chairs and iron bars. Outnumbered, the Nemesis protesters were forced to retreat and the situation gradually calmed down.
On Twitter, the Nemesis collective showed white paw, assuring to have come "
peacefully to the demonstration #NousToutes open to all women
", and denouncing the attitude of certain "
far left activists
" who would have "
stoned
" their members "
with shards of beer
”.
Still according to the collective, the demonstration would have been disturbed by individuals "
who do not support that we talk about problems related to immigration
".

For their part, the “
anti-fascists
” of the Young Guard accused the “
Nazis
” of Nemesis of having “
attacked, armed, the feminist demonstration
”.
“
Fortunately we were able to respond collectively to free the neo-Nazis,” said
Raphaël Arnault, one of the movement's spokespersons.
Still, the police apparently did not intervene during these abuses on the sidelines of the demonstration.
Questioned on Sunday evening, neither the Prefecture of Police, nor the Paris prosecutor's office could confirm to us whether arrests had taken place or whether complaints had been filed.
