The mobile teams to immunize those wishing against the Corona virus continued their visits to the central ministries and directorates, which the Ministry of Health launched its work at the end of last October, with the aim of increasing the number of vaccine recipients and delivering it to the largest segment.
The head of the vaccine program at the Damascus Countryside Health Directorate, Dr. Muhammad Akram Maatouk, indicated that the campaign comes in implementation of the instructions of the ministerial committee in charge of addressing the Corona virus, indicating that it aims to vaccinate the central departments, respectively, in each of the ministries.
Maatouk confirmed the presence of demand from all employees and workers of the Ministry of Industry and their families, noting that coordination lasted 10 days with the ministry before launching the campaign.
He explained that the role of the teams is not limited to giving the vaccine, but rather it is concerned with providing health information about the vaccine in its places of existence, answering inquiries and dispelling fears caused by rumors and false news circulated by some means of communication, noting that vaccines are safe, effective, and approved by scientific and credible bodies from the World Health Organization. The Ministry of Health is fully monitored.
