The rush continues to celebrate Blizzard Activision: Company employees opened and signed a petition over the past weekend demanding the CEO, Bobby Kotik, resign. It was revealed that Kotik knew and allowed sexual harassment to take place within the company, and even sexually harassed a company employee in 2006, and threatened her life with a recorded message because she intended to file a complaint with the police.

The horrific affair may have ended without a complaint being filed and out of court, but it is still an incident that has been leaked to the media and it is another shocking revelation about the company. The petition opened after an investor meeting at which support for Kotik was presented, resulting in Activision-Blizzard employees protesting and expressing their lack of support for the CEO: "We no longer have confidence in Bobby Kotik's leadership ability as the company's CEO. "His behavior in management goes against the culture and integrity we demand of our leaders, and is in direct conflict with the initiatives that have begun in society."

"We require Bobby Kotik to submit his resignation from his position as CEO of the company. We are aware of Bobby Kotik's influence and the significant share of voting rights among investors, and we expect them to choose a replacement without Bobby's outside help or influence. "Which explains the support he received.

An hour after the petition was opened, it was signed by about 500 employees, and as of this writing, about 21,594 users have signed it, including Activision-Blizzard employees who have identified themselves by their full name and position.

Despite pressure from employees, Bobby Kotik fortified his position, claiming that the whole affair was "inflated and the details revealed were inaccurate", noting that the company's board had expressed support for it.

Activision-Blizzard has been facing not-so-simple upheavals in recent times, both in terms of image and law: in recent months, an affair has erupted in which the shocking treatment of company executives who encourage a culture and constant atmosphere of sexual harassment, gender discrimination and misconduct for women - which leaves the company to deal with quite a few lawsuits and huge image damage, and the conduct of the CEO of the company who encouraged this conduct certainly does not contribute to improving the image.

Quite a few companies are starting to shake off and criticize the conduct of Activision-Blizzard in recent months.

The Girls Who Code organization, which is designed to promote women and give them equal opportunities in the high-tech world, renounced Activision-Blizzard and ended the partnership between the companies.

Industry executives such as Microsoft's Xbox division manager Phil Spencer also stated in an internal email to employees that the company is considering continuing the relationship and partnership because of Bobby Kotik's conduct.

Even Sony CEO Jim Ryan asked Activision-Blizzard to comment and provide explanations for their disgraceful conduct, and even removed the Voice of Duty Vanguard from the front page of the PSN store, and it does not promote the company's games at the front of the stage.
