During his speech during the closing of the event on bitcoin "Feel The Bit 2021", Bukele explained that the city will have residential and commercial areas and will be equipped with services, entertainment areas, restaurants, airport, port and train.
The city will rise near the Conchagua volcano to harness its energy to power the city and mine for bitcoin.
According to the president, the land will be ceded by the government, which will also provide public infrastructure and attract investors, on the basis, he promised, of equal access.

The "Bitcoin Week" in El Salvador has counted, for a week, with the participation of investors and experts in the world of cryptocurrencies, among others.
The objective of the event has been to share experiences and learn about the implementation of the Bitcoin Law in the Central American nation, where the Latin American Bitcoin & Blockchain Conference was also held.
On September 7, El Salvador became the first country in the world where bitcoin was adopted as legal tender.
Through the state electronic wallet Chivo, Salvadorans can make purchases and sales of products and services with this cryptocurrency, although many users have reported technical problems to carry out transactions.
The implementation of bitcoin in El Salvador also generated marches and discontent on the part of those who oppose its implementation.
