Munich - Prime Minister Markus Söder announced tightened measures for the Free State after the Corona summit on Thursday (November 18).
According to him, the new infection protection law is not enough for Germany.
A cabinet meeting took place on Friday in which new rules were passed.
There will be restrictions from next week, especially for clubs and discos, but also for hairdressers and restaurants.
There are also a few rule changes in schools and daycare centers.

Despite the increasing number of corona infections, schools and day-care centers remain open.
"We want to give children and young people support," said Minister of Education Michael Piazolo at the press conference after the cabinet meeting on Friday.
Schools and daycare centers are social places, "that is very important and gives structure".
Schools therefore remain in classroom teaching.
Nevertheless, the rules will be tightened a little from next week.
The current mask requirement in the classrooms will be retained.
A mask requirement in physical education is a new addition.
The mask can only be omitted if the lessons take place outside.
Cloth masks can still be worn in primary schools, otherwise teachers and students from the 5th grade must use a medical mask.

Corona in Bavaria: tests in schools and daycare centers
Since last week there have been fixed groups in daycare centers again.
Now there should also be comprehensive PCR pool tests.
They should also be offered at secondary schools (especially in the 5th and 6th grades), as Piazolo announced on Friday.
Wherever pool tests are carried out, quick tests carried out on Monday morning should also bring more security.
In the higher grades, the self-test, which is carried out three times a week, remains the same.
