Several observers claim to have seen the girl from Berlin after she disappeared in February 2019.

Berlin - The riddle about the missing Rebecca Reusch in February 2019 is still considered one of the most mysterious criminal cases in Germany.

In a TV documentary from RTL Plus, the family of the missing student speaks, and in episode one of the TV documentary, the mother of the then 15-year-old told of a call that was pushed away.

Father Bernd Reusch also spoke up; he reported an oppressive moment between him and the girl's brother-in-law.

But could Rebecca still be alive?

Investigators are certain: the then 15-year-old could not have left her older sister's house alive. Martin Steltner from the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office also has his say in the TV documentary: “Well, these aren't amateurs who work in such cases,” says Steltner. “You have found that there is no other explanation. There are no indications that make any other explanation possible ”. Theoretically, there could be another explanation, but the facts must be kept. Should Rebecca have voluntarily left the house, there would be traces that would suggest so.

As further revealed in the TV documentary, the 15-year-old sent a selfie to a friend on the morning of her disappearance.

This selfie is no longer available, but the friend can remember that Rebecca took the selfie in front of the mirror in the hallway.

She wore her jacket, which disappeared with the student.

Did Rebecca take the photo right before leaving the house?

A neighbor said months ago that she had made a suspicious observation in the street.

A young man reported his observation to the police and shortly thereafter also contacted the student's family. He is sure that in April 2019 he saw the then 15-year-old in a department store in Poland. He went on a business trip to Krakow and after a training session he went to the shopping center. There he saw two people, a man around 30 years old. Next to him was a teenage girl. Both would have made the impression of a couple in love. He suspected that the girl could be Rebecca. You have worn braces.

As Brigitte Reusch reveals in the TV documentary, her daughter's braces had not been publicly discussed in the media up to this point.

But this is exactly what the observer in Krakow claims to have seen.

In addition, the girl spoke German.

He told the family the name of the department store and also made his own shopping vouchers available.

However, video recordings of the shopping mall had already been deleted.
