Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova renewed her warning to NATO countries against continuing to stoke tension along the Russian border.
"NATO does not respond to Moscow's warnings and continues to inflame tension along the Russian border," Zakharova said in her account on the Telegram website, noting that holding joint exercises a few days after the conclusion of the military agreement between Estonia and America on the mutual supply of troops with fuel confirms NATO's intention to ignite tension on the borders of Russia. Russia and establish a NATO foothold near the Russian border.
Zakharova added that NATO regularly accuses Russia of lack of transparency and aggressive behaviour, but US forces' training in Estonia shows otherwise.
Earlier today, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned the "NATO" countries against continuing their provocative activities near Russia's borders and importing weapons into Ukraine.
