In the past few days, a number of scooters have been spread out on the sidewalks - and even on the train tracks, as reported by the Federal Police *.
On Friday morning a train ran over at least one e-scooter thrown into the track in the area of Feldmoching train station.
The perpetrators were presumably drunk teenagers.
But: "This is not fun," warns police spokesman Wolfgang Hauner.

“In these cases, you have to reckon with the worst.” Because if objects get into the switches, they can no longer be moved.
The dramatic result: trains can derail - even death.
On Friday, Deutsche Bahn even reported several e-scooters to Feldmoching that were on and next to the tracks for a distance of 70 meters.
The railway line was closed for almost an hour.
Unimaginable if this happens in commuter traffic on the main route.
As early as Wednesday night, two scooters were lying on the track on this route and were run over by a locomotive.

At the weekend, the fire brigade fished a scooter out of the raging waters of the Eisbach with a special platform.

A week ago on Sunday, young people at Arnulfsteg had also thrown a scooter onto the tracks.

"This accumulation of incidents within a week is unusual," says Hauner.
“The people of Munich are annoyed”, is his observation, because “even in the train station area, the scooters are very often not where they should be”.
The fire brigade * is feeling this: the emergency services had to fish an electric scooter out of the Eisbach on Saturday morning.
Surfers had discovered him there.
