"Come and learn about the connections between this movement and the one that works for the liberation of Palestine, watch performances and strengthen your roots in Judaism. We live in isolated and difficult times. Come for one night or all and sharpen your analytical skills, be active and spend time with your family.

Artists, poets, actors, dancers and intellectuals will take part in the celebrations, reads a program published on the site, and will give heart and soul in an attempt to illuminate the occupation, anti-Zionist and anti-racism, and touch on issues such as discrimination and violence against the Palestinian population.

The "Jewish Voice for Peace" movement is a left-wing movement in American Jewry that defines itself as a movement committed to working for equality, human rights, peace and justice.

Its purpose, as it states, is to end what it calls the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, while ensuring security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

This is not the first time that the movement has encouraged Hanukkah celebrations in the spirit of uprooting Israel.

In 2019, the movement called on its supporters to celebrate with the help of an online newsletter offering activities to promote the boycott of Israel. ".
