The World E-Sports Championship (Esports), or as its members call it, the World Gaming Championship - ended this weekend in the city of Eilat, after 6 busy days in which more than 300 athletes from 71 countries took part in the first ever championship held in Israel.

In the Counter Strike Championship, the Israeli team was eliminated at a relatively early stage, after three consecutive losses in the early stages, which prevented the team from advancing to the more advanced stages.
In this competition, the northern Macedonian team that defeated the Romanian team in the final won 2: 0.
In the Tekken competition, the Israeli contestant lost in the round of 16 to a contestant from Venezuela, by the way, a country with which Israel has no relations, with a result of 3: 0.
The Korean contestant won the competition after defeating the Italian contestant in the final 5: 2.
