A shooting and stabbing attack took place this morning (Sunday) in the area of the Chain Gate near the Western Wall.
One of the terrorists was neutralized and according to Palestinian reports the other managed to escape.
According to MDA, three casualties were treated at the scene, one in a critical condition who was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital and another in moderate to severe consciousness. Following the incident, the Temple Mount was closed to Jews. Police also said large forces were called.
Arie Yaffe, a volunteer doctor at the Rescue Union, said: "This is a human wounded and a moderately-conscious wounded. We provided first aid to the wounded at the scene while performing CPR on the wounded man who was taken to the hospital while resuscitation operations continued."
