The Common Past of Gal Gadot and Yaron London Israel today

2021-11-21T16:03:55.018Z

Eliana Tidhar and Noa Kirl are the undisputed stars of the huge show that is taking over our children's lives these days and as a result of our own lives • But let's not forget that before them no less big names took part • Most worth remembering

When we were kids in kindergarten we were taught that Hanukkah is also called the "Feast of Lights" and sometimes even the "Feast of Donuts".

We assume that there are also those for whom Hanukkah is also the Festigal holiday - the popular Hanukkah show that began in the early 80s and has run for 41 years in a row, non-stop (including the year of Corona).

Over the years, the biggest stars in the country have appeared at the Festigal and we dived into the list and hid from there some surprising, interesting and exciting participants that you may not have remembered who starred there and captured the hearts of us all.

Gal Gadot

Before Gal Gadot was Wonderwoman and became one of the big stars in Hollywood, she even played fish at the 2008 Festigal. Well, not exactly.

More like a mermaid, but had a tail involved in the business.

In love - Gal Gadot.

In those years Gadot was still in its infancy and her only acting role until then was in the telenovela "Dolls", so a role in the Festigal (where she also sings of course) makes perfect sense.

Since a lot of water has flowed in the sea, the fish has become a shark and we will stop this pun immediately.

Blue-blue-blue.

Ariel Zilber

In the last two decades Ariel Zilber has made many changes in his life: he has repented, become more politically involved, and provided some controversial statements that have alienated him from certain audiences.

In the 80s and 90s, however, he was one of the most popular stars in the country, as part of his activities in the bands "Tammuz" and "Brosh".

And yes, there was also a performance at the Festigal.

In fact more than one.

We chose "I was torn with a smile" from the 1991 Festigal, during which he has fun and drops himself on the floor.

Efrat Reiten

2021 - MK Efrat Reitan demands answers regarding the Corona's restrictions in the Labor and Welfare Committee (she heads).

1998 - Children's channel star Efrat Reytan dances in a blue plastic suit the hit of all the disturbed children: "I make myself a glass of juice, throw lessons and break the flowerpot, I climb the walls, yes what to do, that's how I want to live."

You to the chairman of the coalition!

Yaron London

The Festigal excels at recruiting the hot stars at the given time on screen and joining the cast, and it turns out that sometimes these stars also come from the news realm.

In 2011, as part of a festival whose main theme was espionage, ex-mythical "garden party" Yaron London was recruited for a guest role at the festival.

Unfortunately, he did not dance alongside Eliana Tidhar in a sequin dress, but contented himself with a recorded appearance on the big screen, in which he played the commander of a spy unit called "Control," which gives instructions to Yael Bar-Zohar.

Threatening, thank you.

Mujda the Wonder Girl

In previous decades, one of the institutions of the Festigal was the "Children of the Festigal" - in which one can find, for example, Tom Avni, Shiri Maimon, Ben-El Tavori and many others who remained or became familiar names in adulthood.

The role of the children was usually small, however there was a girl who was given a more central role.

At the 1992 Festigal, the Turkish wonder girl Mujada appeared, then a big star here in Israel as well, with a string of her songs.

Yes, it turns out that by the age of eight she already had quite a few hits.

We're still humming "On the Sidewalk" (hop-hop, two two).

The guest appearances of Yaffa Yarkoni and Uzi Hitman

Hani Nachmias and "High Five" were among the prominent stars of the 1999 Festigal, but at the same festival one of the most surprising and exciting guest performances was also recorded - Yaffa Yarkoni, then 73, who came to be a guest on the big Hanukkah show and perform a string of her songs.

In 2002 there was an equally exciting guest appearance by Uzi Hitman who stepped in as he walked on a piano-like carpet and performed some of his hits.

Two years later, he passed away as a result of a sudden heart attack.
