The General Authority for the Management and Development of the Forest has started selling and distributing forest plants for the current season, within the Tal Salhab Forest Nursery.
The Director of Natural Resources in the authority, Engineer Fayez Muhammad, said in a statement to SANA reporter that there are currently 300,000 plants of various types of forests, including cypress, fruiting pine, Bruti, Aleppo, laurel, oak, oak and others, in order to work on selling what is needed according to approved prices and distributing free of charge to meet the needs of a number of From public sector bodies such as hospitals and the Directorate of Education.
Muhammad pointed out that the implementation of the 60-hectare artificial afforestation plan will be planted, as areas that have been exposed to fires and deterioration of some forest sites will be planted, especially in Anab, Mardash, Jurin, Al-Mashal and other locations. The Salhab Forest Nursery is part of the implementation of the planting production plan, which amounts to 80,700 forest plants.
