Rural Damascus, SANA- The Syrian-Russian peace initiative honored 70 students from the sons and daughters of martyrs from the stage today

Today, the Syrian-Russian Peace Initiative honored 70 students of the sons and daughters of martyrs from the primary stage, in a ceremony held in the Sahara resort of Damascus countryside.

The ceremony included singing segments and a short film about the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army and Russia's standing by Syria in its battle against terrorism.

The director of the boarding schools for the sons and daughters of the martyrs, Brigadier General Lamis Rajab, indicated in her speech that the schools of the sons and daughters of the martyrs are a long-standing institution concerned with the sons and daughters of the martyrs from an educational and cultural point of view, pointing to the permanent care that President Bashar al-Assad gives to the sons and daughters of the martyrs to be role models in society and contribute to the reconstruction of their country .

Salwa Shaaban, a member of the initiative, explained that the event is a continuation of previous activities of the initiative in child care and spreading love, noting that the sons and daughters of martyrs provide lessons in the meanings of giving and patience so that Syria remains steadfast.

In the speech of the sons of the martyrs, the child Zainab, the daughter of the martyr Ahed Ibrahim, recited a poem that spoke about the greatness of the martyrs and the position they obtain through their sacrifices.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Major General Bassam Berri, Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Persons, Colonel Alexei Savenkov, Head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation, and Major Diana Pogosyan from the Russian Center.
