Fürstenfeldbruck - The Theresianum retirement and nursing home is looking for "wish fulfillers" from December 1st.

The background to this is the “Wish Tree” campaign, which the Theresians are carrying out for the third time in the run-up to Christmas.

Most people take it for granted at Christmas that their wishes are fulfilled and that there are gifts under the tree on Christmas Eve.

But there are also seniors who cannot afford just that.

So that this resident does not go away empty-handed, the proven organizational team with Anita Beer, quality officer, and Anett Menzel, head of the care staff, put a lot of thought into how the residents' wishes can be fulfilled.

After the success of the campaign in the previous year, the wish tree campaign will be carried out in exactly the same way this year - corona-compliant.

Since November, the carers have been asking about the 150 residents' wishes and formulating them on a wish list.

From Wednesday, December 1st, all wishes will be posted on the wish tree, which is freely accessible during the day outside the facility in front of the entrance in Kirchstrasse.

All wish lists have been placed in a weatherproof manner.

"We were also asked to make the wish lists available digitally," says Anita Beer, "but we have neither the staff nor the technology for it".

Just drop by while taking a walk, wishes Beer and also hopes for good weather.

Anett Menzel revealed a few wishes: “Care products or simply material things.

There is often a visit from the therapy dog "Simmerl".

We were very moved by the desire for a piece of cake ”.

The Theresianum is very happy about wish-fulfillers.

For data protection reasons, no names are given on the wish lists, but numbers that can be assigned internally.

The gifts can be handed in to the Theresianum with the wish list by December 16, there is a post box in front of the entrance.

The giving of presents is on December 21st, 22nd and 23rd in each area.

And that is how it works:

- The dream tree will be in front of the facility from December 1st at 9 a.m.

- Remove one or more wishes from the wish tree

- Hand in the wrapped gift in the post box by the wish tree by December 16 or hand it in personally at this entrance.

Please note the opening times and stick the wish list number on.

- Please hang wishes that cannot be fulfilled on the tree again, no wish should be lost.

The entrance is manned daily from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
