At about 1 am today (21st), a private car was driving along the Tolo Highway towards Tai Po. When it approached the Science Park, it was suspected of being hit by a BMW private car following it to the rear. The private car lost control and crashed to the right. Shi Beng then lost control and turned sideways on the road. The four men and women in the car were once trapped in the car.
The following BMW private car left afterwards, leaving a front pump handle on the scene, suspected to belong to the BMW private car.
Several passing motorists called the police.
The firefighter arrived at the scene and rescued the 4 men and women in the car. They all suffered minor injuries and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the incident and track down the whereabouts of the vehicle involved.

The police received a report at 1:23 am that a private car was driving towards Tai Po on the Tolo Highway. When it reached the address, the private car was suspected to have collided with a BMW private car.
BMW then fled.
Police officers arrived at the scene, and the four people in the private car were trapped for a while and were rescued by the firefighting team.
The four injured include a 25-year-old driver named Deng who suffered injuries to his neck, waist, hands and feet.
In addition, the three passengers on the bus, including a 28-year-old man named Zhang and a 26-year-old man named Huang, had waist injuries and foot injuries.
All sober were sent to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital for treatment.
