An Emirati delegation headed by Minister of Education Hussain Al Hammadi visited the Syria pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and toured its sections and reviewed the various artistic and cultural exhibits in it, from the first alphabet to the room designated to listen to the oldest musical notation in history.
The visiting delegation expressed great admiration for the collective art exhibition hosted by the pavilion under the title "I am the Syrian", where each painting displayed represents a face from Syria.
Al-Hammadi said in a statement: “I was pleased to visit the Syrian pavilion and learn about the oldest civilizations through the existing exhibits, as it contains a huge content of the greatness of Syrian history and the new vision to achieve a better future for the Syrian state,” noting the good organization and modern display tools inside the pavilion, which made the Syrian pavilion A kiss for visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai.
In turn, the Commissioner-General of the pavilion and the Syrian ambassador to the UAE, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, stressed in a similar statement during the tour with the Emirati delegation that the Syrian participation in Expo 2020 Dubai represents a great opportunity to exchange cultures and achieve intellectual and scientific communication among the countries of the world.
The visit of the Emirati delegation comes within the framework of great international interest in the Syrian participation in the exhibition. Since its inception, the Syrian pavilion has been visited by delegations and representatives from many countries and organizations participating or visiting the exhibition.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian pavilion's work team, besides introducing Syrian culture and arts, and in cooperation with the pavilion's commercial partners from major Syrian companies in various sectors, organizes periodic business meetings with Arab and international delegations with the aim of developing trade and economic relations with global partners.
It is noteworthy that Expo 2020 Dubai will be attended by 192 countries and a number of educational institutions, companies and multilateral organizations and will last for six months and is expected to attract 25 million visitors.
