The 31-year-old woman had just parked her car on the side of the road at around 10 p.m. and was about to get out when a stranger asked her for directions.
He suddenly pounced on her "and attacked her with massive use of force," says the press release.
Only because the 31-year-old defended herself vehemently and loudly called for help did she manage to get out of the car.
The man fled.
The alarmed police immediately initiated a search for the fugitive.
