Oberschleißheim / Garching

- A BMW driver from Rottenburg had 1.74 per thousand alcohol in his blood;

Witnesses watched the car turn into the Olympic shooting range parking lot.

There the police found the heavily drunk 25-year-old asleep in his car at 5:50 a.m.

The officers secured the driver's license and vehicle keys, prevented any further driving and initiated criminal proceedings for drunk driving.

Exactly the same procedure took place on Sunday night at 0.26 a.m. in Garching, where a local Moldovan (40) came into a police check with his VW Polo.

Since his blood alcohol level was 1.4 per mille, he too had to hand in his driver's license and car keys.
