Because he drove too fast in the car, Philipp Amthor is supposed to surrender his driver's license and pay a fine.

An Erlangen city council made fun of it.

Erlangen - Philipp Amthor's lead foot caused quite a stir.

Last year, the CDU * man from the far north is said to have crashed through a 70s zone * at 120 kilometers an hour.

However, he did not want to accept the fine and even claimed before the Pasewalk district court that he had not driven at all.

That didn't help him and the court sentenced him to a fine of 450 euros and a month's driving license revocation.

The judgment is not yet final.

Erlangen city council is targeting Philipp Amthor - and posting his own speed camera photo on Twitter

But the Amthor case not only caused a stir, it also caused ridicule.

The Erlangen * City Councilor Munib Agha has now posted a photo on Twitter.

He can be seen behind the wheel of his car and looks straight out into the street.

At that moment the speed camera struck.

He caught the city council driving too fast.

He wrote: "It's not me, it's Philipp Amthor".

He was apparently referring to the fact that Amthor claimed not to have driven, although a speed camera photo could prove that exactly.

It's not me, it's Philipp Amthor!

According to a Twitter post from Erlangen city council: users amuse themselves with a photo with Philipp Amthor comparison

The Twitter users were very amused about it and diligently commented: "This is a clear photo of him," writes one.

Someone else said: "But Philipp Amthor still has no beard".

After all: at Munib Agha it wasn't quite as many kilometers per hour anymore.

Just twelve km / h, as he wrote below.

“I can keep my driver's license.”
